How do I get deleted messenger contacts to STAY deleted?

I'm using messenger version 7. I've deleted the same contacts over and over and when I log back into messenger they are still there. I am checking the box to delete them from my address book also. Any help would be appreciated!

Reply:they dont come back someone has to put them back on there. maybe someone has your pass word and u dont no it
Reply:I have the same problem too, and no one can give me an answer. I've tried everything.
Reply:go into preferences and place them on your ignore list,you must have already deleted them from your contacts before ignoring them,so write the user name down,or copy and paste
Reply:Download new messenger (v8). Will work fine.
Reply:delete messenger 7 wait a day or two then re-install the add just you new contacts. waiting a day or two should help to clear your computer of unwanted contacts.
Reply:well you could put ignore on them but theyalways get a new name and when it says add to messanger jus say no

Reply:once you delete a contact, they dont get added on their own.





if you further want to ignore an IM sent by that use add that contact id in the ignore list (accessible from messenger-preferences-ignorelist)
