I want to change my Yahoo messenger ID to something else how I do that?

right i see what you mean you don't want to use the id that you have.Ok you can use an alias on your original id


to do that click on your avatar(or picture)in Y IM


then click on my profile and at the bottom of that click on create or edit my profile.the window that comes up make a new profile and at the end of making it make it your default


by clicking at the right/hand side


then go back to messenger get your profile page up again and make sure it is there.it should have an active sign beside it click on the drop down tab and you will see it .


you should have another name for your messenger.

Reply:Just sign out, and put in the other username and password and click sign-in.





If you are looking to change your username, you can't do that, so you will need to create a new account and start fresh.
Reply:You can use your Yahoo ID on any ones computer just as anyone can put their ID into the messenger on your computer. Simply log out type in the different ID and different password and click...SIGN IN

Your ID is not assigned to one computer or one yahoo messenger installation.
