How do i sign into yahoo messenger?

I want to use yahoo messenger i'm already registered but i don't know how to sign in.

If you are trying to do it at work then your firewall might be preventing you. If you are at home, check it's amongst your permitted programs in your own firewall settings. This is all provided you have downloaded it of course. If all is well with the firewall you should get a login box when you click on the icon. If that fails, try re-installing it. I had a problem once and had to re-install the latest version.

Reply:After logging on to yahoo messenger, I just type in my user name in the first blank line where it asks for it and then type in my password in the password line and I always get in with that. If you can't remember your password, yahoo will send it to you from there you click on the box that says something about not remembering your password. I have no idea how you will find your user name if you have forgotten it, sorry.
