I cancelled my email but yahoo messenger keeps showing on desktop, I want to get rid of this?

I dont want to use yahoo messenger anymore, but everytime I turn on my laptop it appears on the screen to sign in, I want to get rid of this

Go to control panel


then add %26amp; remove programmes


you will find all your programmes listed there and you can uninstall it altogether


i did same as messenger was causing all sorts of problems

And if that dosnt work disable it in start up programs xx

Then to add or remove programs.


Find it there and uninstall it.
