How can I see the IP number adress of someone who sends me mails, who talks with me on Messenger ?

What are the tips to discover these informations ?





I need to know it because somebody is trying to abuse me, and I am sure she's lying...

I couldn't tell you how in messenger. In email you can just check the header information to get the senders IP address. You'll have to check the help file for whatever email program your using to help you display the header info. The problem is the person abusing you may have a dynamic IP address so it could change at any time. In some instances such as colleges the IP address can change everytime their computer is restarted or modem power cycled. I would suggest blocking their email and blocking them on your messenger. If it gets to the point of being illegal contact law enforcement or your ISP.
Reply:Right click on the email in the preview pane on Outlook Express and go to 'properties', then details. This will show the IP address.
