Which would be a lot easier, but unfortunately, this junky old computer is not connected to the internet and doesn't have a working cd burner. It does have a floppy disk drive but my new computer doesn't. Can you use a USB cable between the two to transfer the data? (And if so, after plugging the computers together, how do you then move the archives?) Is there any other way? I already know how where the data is and what to copy, but my problem is how to get it over. Thanks!
How can you move Yahoo Messenger archive files from one computer to another without email or backup to a cd?
Use a USB flash drive. Or if you don't have one of those, you can use an MP3 player like an iPod or even a digital camera instead. All you need is a USB device that you can save files onto and then copy them off of on the new computer. HTH.
