I have windows live messenger 8.5 beta and it wont sign me in unless i get the new version but where can i get it cos it says i have the newest one if i try to download them.

I'm on version 8.1 which is dated last year but I definitely take every upgrade they try to force on me - never heard of v 8.5 - I'm surprised it has shot along that far without them trying to make me take any of the versions in between!

Ok, it's not the spacing that has changed, its the font that has changed.
Go to yahoo, preferences, and you'll see appearance (or something similar), it will let you change the color and font of your friends list AND change the font and color of your font when typing to someone.

You can chat, much quicker than email you can also play games and draw pics etc.

Reply:Unhook your computer from the web by either disconnectiong the ethernet cable or phone line if you are using dial-up, run a virus scan. Then rehook the computer, exit msn messenger, download the latest virus definitions, rerun the virus scan. Then run Kaspersky's online virus scan (http://usa.kaspersky.com/products_servic... and the Trendmicro's housecall online scan (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/). If they come up clear you are good to go. If you don't have a anti-virus download AVG from http://free.grisoft.com/ Then send emails to all your friends apologizing and giving them this info on how to get rid of it! Good luck.

How do I load a Flikr photo to Personals and Messenger? Do I remain photoless?
We all know that having a photo up is important. Both in Personals, while browsing a profile and while chatting on Messenger. Photo seems to be disabled and I am directed to Flickr but nobody is telling me how to use Flikr to get my photo up on Personals and Messenger. Which is where it needs to be for people to see it.

I believe that all you have to do is "Save Picture As" and insert it in your thing. It should work for everything but if it doesn't then something is wrong with your computer. You should probably have your internet checked out by a professional.....or GEEK SQUAD......I love them, they've helped me with a lot of stuff.
