How do I put my picture in Yahoo messenger?

How can I get rid of the Advatar on my messenger and put a real picture in?

First:


Go or create an account with ... flickr

Upload the image from your pc.


*Note* Images must be in ".jpeg" or ".jpg" or ".jpe" format.





Click on the "Your Photos" tab





Scroll down to the bottom of the page





Click on the tab at the very bottom right-hand side "+MY Y!"





Next:


Log on to your Messenger


Click the Messenger tab


Scroll down Click "My Display Image"


In the next window - "My Pictures"


Click "Share my picture"


Click "Select"


Click "OK"


Or ...


While chatting in your Chat window with another user.


Click your current avatar or silhouette.


A Display Image window will pop up for that conversation.


Click "Select"


Select the image ... *any flickr photos should already be included.


Click "Share my picture"


Click "OK"
